The Havarti Club was formally established on Sunday, April 12, 2025 over dinner at an East Longmeadow restaurant, but the idea for this group was formulated at a reunion of life long friends and ‘punsters’ the previous summer.  A late comer came in to see a joyous group, partaking of an array of appetizers. She helped herself to nearby cheese and crackers and remarked, ” Delicious cheese. What is it?” To which the group responded, ” Havarti! Cause it’s a party!” 

Next Meeting of The Havarti Club is in April 2027.
